Why am I losing transmission fluid?
If your transmission fluid is leaking regularly it can cause your transmission gears to slip, which can lead to more serious problems down the road. A loss in fluid can be a symptom of a broken seal within your transmission. Using the latest in
electronic scanning technology, we can pinpoint the problem and repair your automatic transmission as good as new.
My fluid levels are fine, why am I still experiencing problems?
The next step is we’ll check your transmission’s filter, which is responsible for keeping debris and contaminants out of your transmission fluid. If this filter is compromised it can cause a range of problems for your transmission performance. Not only
are we able to replace this for you, but using specialist equipment we’ll perform a full transmission flush, which cleans all foreign particles from your transmission. This is often enough to get our Waikato customers back on the road, if not then we can look at performing a full rebuild.
What about CVT?
Continuously variable transmission (or CVT), is becoming increasingly common in modern vehicles. In short, CVT involves a gradual shifting of gears, as opposed to the definite gear shifts found in traditional automatic gearboxes. Rest assured that
